The dissertation contains data dealing with a complex study of the coxofemoral joint during the whole period of ontogenesis. Consistent patterns of the embryotopography of the coxofemoral joint have been established. The specific characteristics of the structure of the coxofemoral joint and its interrelations with the adjacent structures have been described. The periods, site and anlage peculiarities of the skeletogenous bone primordia, forming the coxofemoral joint, articular capsules and ligamentous apparatus have been established. The peculiarities of their formation and correlative link with the development of the neuromuscular apparatus have been described. The specific distionctions of blood supply and innervation of the coxofemoral joint have been determined. Morphologic preconditions of the onset of congenital joint have been determined. Morfologic precondition of the onset of congenital anomalies, developmental defects and structural versions of the coxofemoral joint have been revealed.
