Essay

Object of the research is the process of formation of the fundamental values of a personality. The aim of the research is the defining of the conceptual foundations of the literary education and ground of the axiological aspects of “Foreign literature” in the process of formation of a future teacher personality. Methods of the research are laws of dialectics and categories of learning social processes and phenomena using general gnosiological and social methods that ensure the unity of the analysis of the problem of the research. In the process of the research the foreground principle was the principle of social-philosophical knowledge organization – the principle of humanistic direction. The principle of systematization, historical, comparative and analytical methods, method of practical approach to the problems of a personality and human existence were used. Theoretical and practical results of the research. The results of the dissertational research can be used in the future development of social-philosophical problems concerning axiological outlook, existence of a personality, creative activity, self-knowledge; they can be used in teaching corresponding themes in the courses of social philosophy, ethics and esthetics, foreign literature, world culture, special courses. Theses of the research can be considered while compiling syllabus, methodologies, textbooks, manuals on foreign literature. The novelty of the research: 1. The notion “fundamental values”, their role in culture as in the sphere of realization of human values by means of art and literature were actualized. 2. The role of fundamental values in the formation of young people especially of a teacher personality formation foreshortened the social-cultural dynamics of our society: pre-revolutionary, soviet, post-soviet was examined. 3. The conceptual foundations of the model of literary education, the demands to it in the context of a new educational paradigm and the role of foreign literature in the formation of fundamental values of afuture teacher personality were defined. 4. The philosophical model of literary education in the subject field of “Foreign literature” was developed; on the basis of it the concrete ways of optimization of the process of the formation of fundamental values of a future teacher were proposed. 5. The axiological aspects of “Foreign literature” in the process of preparation of a future teacher were analyzed. Sphere of use – in higher educational humanitarian establishments for optimization of the process of the formation of fundamental values of a personality by means of foreign literature.
