Dissertation theses are dedicated to a theoretical basis social and geographical reseach of frontier regions that are considered to be important factor of transborder cooperation in the conditions of European integrating processes. Natural and human geographical factors' influence on development of agriculture is analysed. Peculiarities of component and territorial-functional structures of agriculture in the studying territory are exposed. Division into agricultural regions is carried out and reccomendations of scientifically argued agrarian specialization are elaborated.
