Till the end of the XIX century the attention of explorers was mostly concentrated on woodworking industry of Eastern Huzulshchuna. The art of the Delyatyn master Vasyl Turchynyak and the other masters of this region were left beyond the attention of the explorers. This phenomenon slowed the scientific study of the processes which took place in Western Huzulshchuna.
