Essay

The interaction of the genotype and environment was defined. The values of GCA and SCA variances and effects of the investigated winter triticale varieties of different morphotypes are established and on the basis of these values the prospects of these varieties usage in breeding programs were defined. The inheritance of eight economic traits in two years environments by the system of diallel crosses with the analysis of F1 hybrids was carried out. The genotypic path and correlation coefficients between grain performance of a triticale plant and its economic useful characters were fixed. In the co-authorship the new fodder variety of winter triticale Buyana was developed which is recognized as a perspective variety in 2002.
