Essay

The research was carried out 60 human skull vaults. The purpose of the research: to study the individual anatomic variability of the configuration of surface of the skull vault bones in relation with the surface coordinate points in the external and internal bone plates for building of the computer model of the skull vault bone defects. The craniometric, morphometric and statistic methods were used. The marginal forms and diapasone of the individual anatomic variability of the surface of the skull vault bone were established. The built computer model of the human skull vault had the quantitative parameters and shape of the bone analoque. The received computer model of the implantat had the shape, сonfiguration and thichness of the absent bone area. The results of the research were adopted in the studying process and research work at the morphological and neurosurgery departments of different medical and pedagogic universities of Ukraine, аnd also for practical usage at the neurosurgery and neurotraumatology clinical departments.
