І. D. Psychological particularities of the professional communication of police officers in the emergency situations.

The dissertation research deals with the problems of the psychological readiness of police officers for professional communication in emergency situations on the example of negotiations.The research work describes the features of professional communication in the activity of police officers, it's particularities in the emergency situations, draws a system of the most widespread situations, in which police officers must communicate (negotiate), gives a psychological characteristic of the persons which are on the opposite side of those negotiations, presents a typical variant of carrying on the negotiations with the trespassers, contains a list of the most important professional qualities necessary for the professional communication (negotiation) in the emergency situations.The method of psychological training of police officers for the professional communication in emergency situations and practical recommendations for the effective dialogical communication with the criminals (trespassers) in the emergency situations have been worked out as a result of the research.
