Essay

The morpogenesis of anterior abdominal wall and abdomen was the object of investigation. The goal of the work is determination of trends of morphophunctional changes of the abdomen's anterior wall, the abdomen in late ante- and postnatal ontogenesis. For this purpose antropometry, morphometry, mor-phologic, biophysical and statistical methods were used. It is determined sex, age and so-matotype induce on structure and form of the abdomiminal wall. Basic trends of morphgenesis were determined and biophysi-cal characteristics of the abdominal wall were studied at first time. The results of the study were used at educational process of the de-partments of the Human Anatomy of Medical Academics and Universities of Ukraine. Findings of our work can be used in surgery.
