Essay

The stages of the myelination process in rat cerebellar cells culture were characterised. The myelin sheaths were undergone by structural changes as well as glial cells demontstrated fagosytic properties under influence of blood serum of multiple sclerosis patients. demyelination of axons was followed by these alterations. The extract of mushroom Hericium erinaceus demonstrated the regulating and protective effects on the state of myelin sheaths under different experimental conditions.
