Masayev M. Crimean Tartars in the armed forces of Russia (XVIII - XX cent.)

The object of study - the armed forces of Russia at the period of the end XVIII - beginning ХХ cent. The purpose of study is to open historical conditions of occurrence and development of the Crimean Tartars formations in structure of Russian army. The methods used in the research are: induction, deduction, analysis and synthesis, analogy, comparison and generalization. The thesis is dedicated to the problem of Crimean Tartars military history in the Russian army at the period of the end XVIII - beginning XX centuries. For the research of the problem a lot of archive materials and others published materials were used on researching this theme. The main periods of the beginning, development and role in the Russian army at this period is investigated in this work. The conclusions were made about each period of history of the national formations and about the whole problem. Scientific and practical importance was emphasized.
