In the thesis the role of documentary science as a field of scientific knowledge and academic discipline has been examined in details, theoretical and methodological approaches onto the problem of documentary specialists training under information process in the society have been analyzed, the content and structure of teaching and educational process for documentary science and information activities staff training have been defined concretely; the system of terms and notions in connection with "documentary science" has been outlined and specified; optimal upbringing methods and techniques for documentary specialists to be have been analyzed. In the thesis the classifying model for training complex has been worked out, taking into consideration general typology of the documents, which are necessary in highly qualified specialists in documentary science training.
