Social-Democratic parties of Ukraine at the end of the XX and at the beginning of the XXI centuries. The aim of investigation is study the ways of the social-democratic idea creation in the Ukrainian Society and research the creation process and activity of Social-Democratic Parties. The methods of investigation are comparative-historical, retrospective, problem-chronological, classification, statistical-analytical, synchronous, diachronous. For the first time in the Ukrainian historiography on the basis of broad Sources historiographic stuff common and special features of genesis and the formation of ideology and political activity of Social-Democratic parties are observed. It is proved that Social-Democratic idea has deep roots in the Ukrainian Society and affirmation of independence of Ukraine development of political pluralism promoted the formation of Social-democratic parties. The main reasons of contradictions that appeared in surroundings of the Ukrainian democracy and the course of disunities and consolidations in parties of social-democratic orientations are cleared up. The spheres of use are the scientific-research process, the training courses.
