Severilova P. Social-philosophical comprehension of picture of the world of Kiev knizhnik (thinker) of XI century (on the material of metropolitan Hilarion's heritage)

The thesis is the result of philosophical research of the oldest Kiev Rus’ manuscript texts. It is devoted to reconstruction of the first Kiev metropolitan Hilarion’s social-philosophical views. In the thesis the main social-philosophical and historiosophical concepts (“world”, “Law”, “Grace”) that construct the picture of the world, presented by Hilarion are analyzed . The problem of sense of social existence coincides with Christ, because the source of social life, its content and aim are led to the Firstprimary source of existence. Thus the social history has ontological, co-existential basis. The author defines the picture of the world of Kiev knizhnik Hilarion as “The verbal image-icon of the world transfigured by Grace”.
