Valeeva L. Transformation potential of the Russian language interrogative pronouns.

Thesis is devoted to the systematisation and analysis of a group of functional homonyms of the interrogative pronouns in the Russian language. Functional homonyms are initial word and a transformant - a language unit, which lost the complex of signs of one part of speech, and gained the distinctive signs of the other part of speech. In the thesis the author describes unique properties of the interrogative pronouns, allowing to the given group of words to realise any intentions of the speaker, the factors, exerting influence on the constructive work of the process of emigrational transformation and "forbidding" the replenishment process of the interrogative pronouns at the expense of other parts of speech are described. The transformation potential (as the whole complex of functional homonyms) of the interrogative pronouns includes: pronoun, conjunction, particle, interjection. In the thesis the semantic bonds kept between functional homonyms are investigated. The exposure of the general sema components in the semantic structure of the initial interrogative pronoun and its transformants take place with respect to the conditions of functioning, that is of the semantic structure of expression.
