The dissertation is the first in Ukrainian Translation Studies comprehensive research of the ways of reproducing established and contextual semantics of the epithet construction and its functioning in literary translation. The research also presents the methods and results of the epithet construction contrastive analysis in both working languages. The dissertation is based on Ukrainian and Anglophone literary texts and their results.
