Ignatova E. Food Market in Transition Economy

The object of the investigation is the sum total of social-economic relations appearing in the connections of goods production, distribution and consumption. The goal of the investigation is to exercise the complex political-economic analyze of the nature, principles and formation conditions and functioning of the food market in the transitional economic systems and also to collaborate the scientific-practical recommendations to improve it. Methods of the investigation: theoretical generalizations and comparisons, historical and logical analyses and syntheses of the abstract and specific statistics comparison. Results, novelty: 1) the nature of the food market as a component subsystem of the multi-branch consumer market which expresses the economic relations concerning production and sale of groceries, has been reviled; 2) the two level approach to the food market analysis has been grounded and applied; 3) the notion '' steady development of a food market'' has been introduced and its nature hasbeen discovered, the strategy, that secures satisfaction of peoples different needs nowadays and in the future, has been proposed; 4) it has been proved that one of the basic reasons of the food market undevelopment in the transitional economy is imperfection of institutional insurance of the market reforms in agricultural sphere/ the basic traits of non-branch market type infrastructure formation have been proposed; 5) strategic priorities of Agriculture Production Complex (APC) have been marked out; 6) the way of agricultural productive formations into a complex integrative vertical type organizations has been proposed and grounded; 7) the necessity of social agroproductive infrastructure separation as one of the society's infrastructure has been proved.
