Kochergin I. O.M.Pole and his place in public, political life and economic development of South of Ukraine in second half of XIXth century.

The aim is to analyze the all aspects of the life and activity of O.M.Pol and to estimate his contribution in economic, cultural and social development of Katerinoslav region. Objekt - personality of O.M.Pol on the background of economic development of the South of Ukraine and social and political life Katerinoslav gubernija in the second part of the XIXth sentury. The dissertation is devoted to investigation of life and activity of the prominent figure of Pridniprovja region O.M.Pole. The genealogy of O.M.Pole was investigated; stages of formation of the person of O.M.Pole was traced; the activity of O.M.Pole in provincial institution, which where connected with realization of peasant reform was analyzed; estimation of the public activity of O.M.Pole was made; the role of O.M.Pole in investigation of deposits of iron ore of Krivoy Rog and influence of this investigation on the next development of iron ore mining and metallurgical industry of South of Ukraine were defined.
