Object: ethnic processes in Transcarpathia within a communist totalitarism; national policy USSR and its influence on ethnopolitical and ethnocultural development of territory in 1940-1980. Aim: to analyse consequences of national policy USSR on ethnopolitical and ethnocultural development Transcarpathia in 1940-1980. Methods: historical, structural-system analysis, comparative, statistical. Results: the changes in ethnic structure of the population Transcarpathia in 40-80 ХХ century, in particular are investigated, the role of CPSU and Soviet government bodies in assimilation processes in Transcarpathia is found out. Sphere of use: scientific, educational-pedagogical.
