Thesis for degree of agricultural sciences candidate in speciality 06.01.14 - seed-growing - Institute of sugar-beet of UAAS, Kyiv, 2003. Results of researches of 1998-2001 years on peculiarities of blossom and fructification biology, methods of increasing woollyflower astragalus and baikal skull-cap seed productivity and peculiarities of scull-cap seed germination are described in the thesis. It ascertained astragalus and scull-cap blossom period is stretched in the time. These are typical cross-fertilised cultures. Bumblebees are their main fertilisers. Astragalus fruits and seeds forming lasts 24 days from the moment of set. Scull-cap fruits ripening period is 27 days and seed ripening period is 24 days. Scull-cap seeds germinate in 10 days, but most simultaneously in first 5 days. Project of "Temporary technical conditions on scull-cap seeds" was developed. It ascertained positive influence of stimulators and microfertilisers on increasing astragalus and scull-cap seed productivity.
