Essay

On the basis of the analysis of files, memoirs, materials of periodicals, home and foreign historiography the peculiarities of the formation and basis stages of the development of Ukrainian Youth Movement in Bukovyna in the 60-ties of the XIX-th - at the beginning of the XX-th centuries are described in the thesis. The structure and organizational principles of youth societies are analysed. The youth participation in public life of the land, its cultural, educational and charity activities are presented. The process of the formation of the relations with other youth organizations of the land is elucidated, including the development of ties with Ukrainian youth of Galychyna and Head-Dniper Ukraine.
