Ishchenko I. National policy in the sphere of social anomaly control during NEP period (1921-1928): experience, contradictions, lessons (on the basis of materials about Southern Ukraine).

Object - social - political processes in southern region of Ukraine in the NEP period (1921 - 1928) and their interrelation with social anomalies. The purpose - system research of the most widespread social anomalies NEP period in southern Ukraine, analysis of the mechanism of formation and realization of state politics directed on their gradual replacement from public life. Methods - historical-genetic, comparative, trouble-chronological, correlation, content-analysis, gender analysis and retrostory. The thesis shows complete picture of spreading of children homelessness, mendicancy, vagrancy, prostitution, hard drinking, alcoholism in the society during NEP period. The author thoroughly evaluates the causes that influenced anomalies in the conditions of market relations. The research summarizes positive and negative experiences of struggle with these phenomena at the south of republic, that can become valuable source material for control of the same social anomalies nowadays.
