Essay

The object is the population of Southern Ukraine, it's estates and ethnical structure. The aim of the work - determination the peculiarities of the process of forming urban population of region, the role and part of different estates and ethnical gropes in social-economical and public life of the cities.The scientific methods were used in researching: descriptive, statistic, comparative-historical and typological. Scientific novelty: for the first time, on the base of involving new sources and investigation literature, elucidate the process of forming urban population, it's estates and ethnical structure.
