Kornienko V. Land Reform implementation in Ukraine (1990-2002 years): Historical lessons and consequences.

In the thesis the essence, directions and stages, economic and political consequences of the 1990's agrarian reform in Ukraine are examined. Considering a great amount of sources the author reveals the essence, directions, stages, historical consequences of the land reform in Ukraine in 1991-2002. The history of low and scientific and methodical background of the land reform implementation is analysed. Forms and methods of the state establishments and public organizations activity under the land reform period are indicated. The complex of state measures directed on intensification of control after the process of changes of land relations as well as on attempts to do it less spontaneous is analysed. The reform didn't give positive results because of insufficient financing provided by agricultural sphere government, this resulted in the problems while a lot of people (especially pensioners) who had been working in the agricultural sphere for a long period were being allotted the land plots. The land reform influence on the change in economic relations, on formation and development of new forms of organization and production in the agricultural goods producers' status is considered. Some possible ways of the following land reform development are given according to the principles of the new Land Code of Ukraine.
