In the dissertation structural-semantic and functional-communicative properties of the token limit and its derivatives in their projection on Russian linguistic picture of the world are investigated. The concept of lexico-derivative family of words, formed on the basis of semantic differentiation of derivatives is substantiated: the specification of its internal structure and peculiarity of semantic-motivational relations between generatrix lexico-semantic variants and their derivatives, including innovatory, are uncovered.
