Lidia M. Organizational and legal problems of judges' status

The thesis is devoted to the study of organizational and legal problems of judges' status. The legal and comparable analysis of peculiarities of the traditional approach to the problem of defining judges' status in Ukraine and in the countries of Rome-German and Anglo-Saxon legal community was made. The notion of judges' legal status, study of the juridical nature and essence of judges' legal status. The judges' powers rights and duties were analyzed and classified. Special attention was paid to the examination of judges' jurisdiction. The proposals concerning the perfection of the legislation in the sphere of provision and realization of social and legal judges' status were formulated. They were formulated according to the worldwide standards.
