Koziar R. Organizational and legal mechanism for preventing interference in the professional activity of a judge

The dissertation is a comprehensive study of the organizational and legal mechanism of preventing interference in the professional activity of a judge. At the empirical level, the author analyzed the experience of countering interference in the professional activity of judges in European countries, characterized the main directions of interference in the professional activity of judges in Ukraine, and analyzed the impact on the judge of cases of interference by citizens and public associations. As a result of the conducted research, the author formulated recommendations for the development of the organizational and legal mechanism for preventing interference in the professional activity of a judge. Based on the results of the research, a set of recommendations regarding changes and additions to the Law of Ukraine "On the Judiciary and the Status of Judges", the Criminal Code of Ukraine, the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses was formed, as well as the feasibility was substantiated and the necessary changes to the judicial legislation were proposed in order to establish the institution of the Authorized Council of Judges of Ukraine on preventing interference in the professional activity of judges.
