Belikov A. The gypsy population of Ukraine (ХVІ - XX c.)

. The dissertation is devoted to research of development the gypsy population of the Ukraine during the XVI - XX centuries. On the basis of a wide circle of sources the process of formation and quantitative and qualitative compositions, its traveling are analysed. In work is traced the process of formation of legal base concerning of gypsies on the part of state formations, in which composition in different times there were Ukrainian lands, and also real policy of the central and local authorities of these states. The general economic and socio-cultural provision of the gypsies is characterized, the place which they occupied in the Ukrainian society in the researched period is defined; social structure and processes of social differentiation in their environment, feature of cultural - household processes among the gypsy population of Ukraine is construed.
