Essay

It was determined that saturation of the mutant genotype b cn vg by the genes of flies C - S or the displacement of its chromosome 1 on a homologous chromosome of flies C - S leads to increasing of frequency of a crossing over on the field b - cn - vg. Thus the frequency of the crossing over at the artificial changes of the genotype increases on the field b - cn, but does not change on the field cn - vg. It is shown that the age changes of the fitness components for the investigated bearers of mutant genes are more significant than for flies of wild type C - S. The proofs of availability in the genotype of flies of the line C - S genes which are capable to improve the parameters of fitness components for the mutants b cn vg are obtained. The state of fitness components for different mutant lines D. melanogaster, frequency of the crossing over on the field b - cn - vg and expressivity of the locus Adh depending upon age of flies, conditions of their keeping and carried out modification of the genotype are studied. The definite resemblance in the trend of changes of the separate studied parameters (fertility, frequency of a crossing over and activity of Adh), observed for the mutants b cn vg is determined at their aging and artificial change of their genotype.
