Tragnyuk R. Procuratorial supervision over the observance of laws on provision of rights of the accused

The thesis deals with theoretical and practical problems connected with provision of rights of the accused during pre-trial investigation by means of procuratorial supervision.The system of rights of the accused during pre-trial investigation and guarantees of their provision are researched in the thesis.The essence and legal principles of procuratorial supervision of rights of the accused, procurator's powers to fulfil supervision over observance of laws by pre-trial investigating bodies are examined.The alignment of procuratorial supervision, departmental and court control for observance of rights of the accused during pre-trial investigation is shown.In the dissertation the methodics of procuratorial supervision over the observance of laws on protection of rights of the accused during pre-trial investigation (during the detention or keeping under arrest, "accusation of a person", providing rights for the defence; at the stage of completion of pre-trial investigation) are worked out.The measuresof the improvement of the legislation in force are proposed.
