Budkov D. International informational activity of Ukraine. Year 1917-1923.

The research deals with the international informational development process during the different historical periods of Ukrainian statehood structure beginning with 1917 up to 1923: The Central Council of Ukrainian Republic, Ukrainian state of hetman P. Skoropadsky, Soviet Ukraine, State Center of Ukrainian Republic. There were analysed the main factors of foreign and home policy that influenced the process of diversification of information about history of the Ukrainian people and their civil achievements, present situation, the process of the national statehood revival and endeavor of the country. There were studied legislative normative background of the foreign policy propaganda, structure and functions of informational departments of the offices responsible for foreign relations as well as specialized informational institutions. There were also reviewed the contribution of public organizations and the Ukrainian diaspora to the international informational work of Ukrainian Government. There were traced forms and methods of the international informational work, objective difficulties in the process of spreading of the true information about Ukraine.
