The object of the research is the 5th-11th forms pupils' needs, motives, and interests to the Physical Culture and Sports studies. The aim of the research is to ground scientifically and to elaborate the methodic recommendations for the rise of pupils' motives to physical self-perfection in the system of planned studies of Physical Culture and Sports as well as in individual ones. The methods of the research: special literature data theoretical analysis and generalization; documentary materials studying; observation; questionnairing; moving activity time-keeping; mathematical statistics. The results of the research. The methodic recommendations "The shaping of motive to self-perfection for the secondary school pupils by means of Physical Culture and Sports" are elaborated.
