In the dissertation one of complex scientific analyses of Left bank Ukrainian zemstvoes' fire safety is made. The author examined the influence of the fire safety on the peasants' economical wellness in the region, the fire safety brigade law foundation of zemstvo institutions was analysed, the cooperation of fire safety departments with zemstvo's organizations and the influence of their activity on the increase of the level of fire safety was studied.
