Object - organization of training for public administration experts in the countries of North America, Western Europe and Ukraine; goal - scientific-theoretical substantiation of the formation principles, organizational regularity and development trends of the standards in professional education in the sphere of public administration in the countries of North America and Europe as well as of setting strategy - based on them - concerning improvement of standardization in training of public servants in Ukraine; methods - analysis, synthesis, induction, deduction, classification, systematization, generalization, analogy, comparison, inductive generalization, content analysis; innovation - it has been proved for the first time that principles, regularities, and tendencies in the standardization of professional training in public administration are formed under influence of global processes of differentiation and integration of specialization "public administration", intensive influence of approaches to thestandardization of professional training in public administration that are employed in the Northern American and Western European regions; outcomes - the strategy for the improvement of professional training for executives in public service in Ukraine has been developed; regularities and tendencies of the standardization in the professional education in the sphere of public administration in the Northern American and Western European countries have been studied and developed; main principles, directions, strategies in professional training in public administration in Ukraine are clarified.
