The complex research in creating of the soft medicinal form on the basis of the new biologically active substance of natural origin - phenol-hydrophobic propolis (PHPP) preparation for application in stomatology have been carried out for the first time. Based on the physical-chemical, biopharmaceutical and microbiological researches results the optimum composition has been developed and the rational formulation of gel with PHPP has been proved. The drug quality parameters and methods for determination have been suggested. The gel properties have been studied and its stability during storage has been investigated. A specific inflammatory activity and safety of the drug have been studied in biological research
