Khmelnytska L. Industrial trusts of Ukraine during the years of the new economic policy (1921-1929).

The dissertation is dedicated to the complex investigation of the problems of organization and economical-industrial activity of the industrial trusts of Ukraine in the years of the new economic policy (1921-1929). The peculiarities of the industry management system functioning under the circumstances of introduction of the monetary relationships are cleared up in details. The mechanism of the economical self-support, financial backing and crediting of the industry in the framework of the planned economy, the character of the relations between republican and all-Union Industry managing bodies are revealed. The process of syndication is enlightened, along with its results for the industrial trusts. A special consideration is given to the process of republican industry organization and its production percentage in the Soviet Union economy. The degree of command-administrative methods' influence on the industry re-organization process and on the liquidation of the new economy forms of industry managementis defined. The role of trusts in training the qualified personnel for industrial production and their contribution to the rebuilding of the national economy and creation of the powerful productive and technical basis of Ukrainian industry are studied out.
