Social atmosphere, moods and morality of the Ukrainian population in post-war period of Stalin totalitarian regime (1945-1953) are being researched on the basis of wide information sources analysis in the thesis. The main tendencies in society moods and their dependence totalitarian regime policy are being analyzed in the research. The moral effects of World War II and the Great Patriotic War for the Ukrainian society are determined. The influence of the events of social and political country life on the population moods in the Republic are investigated in detail. The dependence of morality and moods of the Ukrainian population on Soviet socio-economic politics is analyzed. The processes of foundation and construction of democratic opposition to wards existing Stalin regime in the post-war Ukrainian society are characterized.
