Usenko I. Analysis of Reliability and Laying-out of Tracing for Loop Piping in Water Supply

Subject - loop piping in urban water supply networks. Scope - scientific foundation for more advanced methods of reliability calculation and laying-out of tracing for loop piping of water supply networks. Method - mathematical and computer aid designing; theory of reliability and structural analysis; analytical geometry; theory of graphs. Theoretical and practical results. The analysis procedure of loop piping reliability in water supply networks has been elaborated. The graphical and analytical procedure while elaborating of tracing for new loop piping has been developed. The water supply company "Poltavavodokanal" has appreciated the reliability rate in main loop piping of Poltava water supply network and singled out portions which introducing shall enhance its reliability. Scientific novelty as to the obtained results. The mathematical models of structure reliability for loop water supply network in terms of polynoms have been developed; the notion of ultimate reliability rгр for any portion as a criterion for the choice has been proposed; the active methods in tracing lay-out for loop water supply networks have been improved; the method enhancing structure reliability while its reconsrtuction and determination of an emplacement for a new portion has been elaborated. Field of application - designing and maintenance of urban water supply and sewerage networks.
