Shalashna N. Development of historical and book-science thought in Ukraine in the 19th century.

This thesis is dedicated to the complex research of process of the development of historical of historical and book-science in Ukraine in the 19th century. Importance of this process consists of the formation of subject, methods, themes and structures of historical research of the book was defined. The content of notion 'history of a book" was turned out in the works of researches of the 19th century. Historical and book-science publications of the 19th century were classified on basic thematic trends and the main achievements in the spere of forming of methods of historical research of the book were found out. The role of scientific of institutions, periodical publications and Ukrainian scientists in the development of history of a book as an independent sphere of scientific researches was marked.
