Essay

Administration of high doses of ergocalcipherol (10000 U/kg) to the rabbits is shown to the LPO processes activation, increase of water content percentage, inulin space volume and calcium in the blood vessel tissues. It is established thet pharmacologic agents which restrict the damage of blood vessel wall do not influence on the calcium level in the vein wall. But factors which depress calcium deposition do not influence on the indices which characterize the damage. Thus the conducted experimental investigation confirms that there is no direct pathogenic connection between the processes of vein wall damage and its calcification.
