Essay

The process of formation and functioning of scientific intelligence in a modern societies analyzed. The features of formation of SI on Ukraine are shown during transition to a democratic society, modern rule of SI on U, its reproduction and prospect of development. The specificity of public life of SI of Ukraine is analyzed. Is established, that the main function of SI is manufacture of scientific knowledge. The conclusion is made, that the science on Ukraine requires (demands) support at different organizational level.
