Object - determination of periods of vaccination (against classical swine fever) of piglets derived from immune sows using two virus vaccines (ADV and LK-M). Purpose - to determine immunological properties of virus vaccines against classical swine fever in the experuments with pigs of different age groups, taking into acount sows' immune status and inserting neccesary corrections into the routes of specific prophylaxis of CSF. Methods - clinical and epizootological, hematological, pathological and anatomical, virological. The presense of passive maternal and postvaccinal antibodies was defined animal blood sera and the antigen of CSF virus was identified in blood and pathological material. Novelty - for the first time in experiments wits piglets from immune sows, under the conditions of two swine raising complexes in Kiev region ("Agroenterprise Kalita" and Agrofirm "Agroma") the most optimal periods of prophylactic vaccination against CSF were defined - 80-90 days of age compared to 45 days of age. For the detection of CSF virus in pathological material a rapid method has been proposed of CSF diagnosis using rabbit anti-swine G-immunoglobulin labeled with horseradish peroxidase. The results of the study - have been introduced into the scheme of planned prophylactic vaccination of piglets against classical swine fever in swine raising complex "Agroenterprise Kalita". The results of the study are also used in educational process and research work. Field - veterinary medicine
