Balym Y. Spreading of cow mastitis, working out of their prophylaxis and therapy remedies using iodofores.

THE OBJECT OF RESEARCH: clinical and subclinical mastitis of cows, milk contamination with microorganisms, systems of diagnostics, prophylaxis and treatment of cow mastitis. THE SUBJECT OF RESEARCH: cows, milk, microorganisms, milking equipment, iodofores. THE METHOD OF RESEARCH AND EQUIPMENT: various methods were used of microorganisms identification, bacteriologic methods of pathogen , clinical and special methods of diagnostics of cow mastitis; preventive and therapeutical methods of mastitis, preventive and medical efficiency of iodofores; toxicological and pharmacological estimation of new preparations, special methods of technological regulation of veterinary measures and their economical estimation were used. THEORETICAL AND PRACTICAL RESULTS: In the dissertation the materials about spreading of clinical and subclinical forms of mastitis in Kharkov region farms, their interconnection with intensity of milk contamination with microorganisms were stated. The dominating role of Str. agalactiae in the appearance of mastitis and tendency to change for the worse of situation, especially under unfavorable weather conditions was shown. The connection of breach of receiving milk technological process and carry out of veterinary-sanitary measures in the provide production system of high-quality milk was established. The system of veterinary-sanitary measures of prophylaxis and treatment of mastitis using Ukrainian iodofores (Syntaiodine, Saveiodim, iodine-neonol) was theoretically well-grounded and developed. Their harmlessness and safety of using in recommended doses, medical-prophylactic and economical efficiency of shown measures under the production conditions were established. NOVELTY: antimicrobial and pharmacotoxical characteristics of new remedial-preventive preparations of iodofore group: syntaiodine, saveiodim, iodine-neonol are developed and studied, the system of their using in manufacture at prophylaxis and treatment of all mastitis forms is worked out. It was proved that the developed preparations did not cause an accumulation of the rests in milk. Two patents of Ukraine confirm the scientific novelty of carried out research. THE DEGREE OF INCULCATION: The set of the scientific and technical documentation for anti-inflammatory preparations "saveiodim", "iodine-neonol" is developed. THE FIELD OF USE: Veterinary medicine.
