In this research the course of life and development of the enlighten in the context of socio-cultural development of the crimean tatar nation (at the second half of the 19th century - the beginning of the 20th century), the state of the national pedagogical science in that period are analyzed; the historiography on the given problem is presented; the problems of the crimean tatar, schools and these problems in Gasprinsky's works are claritied; a valuable contribution of the enlighter to the development of the schools system and influence of the world and home pedagogical thought on forming the outlook and the didactic ideas of the crimean tatar reformer are discovered.Are investigated and are ertain of Ismail Gasprinsky's didactic system, the actuality of didactic ideas of the crimean enlighter for education and upbringing generation at the contemporary stage of development of Ukraine is determined
