Vilenchuk O. Theoretical and Methodological Principles of Forming the System of Ecological Risk Insurance

The thesis deals with the problems of theoretical substantiation and development of methodological principles of organizing and introducing the ecological insurance system under the growing level of ecological danger in the country. The paper develops the mechanism of managing ecological risks with the purpose of minimizing negative effects for human vital activity and the environment. The author suggests and substantiates the principles of the construction of ecological insurance system as an effective set of instruments for rational nature management. The paper also improves the techniques for calculating the rates of insurance and determines the main sources of forming insurance reserves and the ways of their allocation. A simulation model of ecological insurance in agro-industrial complex has been developed.
