Babenko V. Organizational and legal aspects of public prosecutor's supervision over observance of environment protection laws.

The dissertation studies the importance of the public prosecutor's supervision over observance of environment protection laws as a substantial component of improvement mechanism for the guarantees of ecological rights of the citizens of Ukraine and protection of the state interest. The powers of the public prosecutor were examined in supervision over observance of environment protection laws and tendencies of their development. Organizational features of the public prosecutor's work were examined in supervision over observance and implementation of environment protection laws. The problems concerned quality and efficiency evaluation in the public prosecutor's supervision over observation and implementation of environment protection laws were examined on the basis of practice analysis. Theoretical conclusions and proposals on improvement of applicable laws were formed.
