Essay

The general technique of estimation for operating condition of airborne equipment in the thunderstorm range is proposed. The algorithms of optimal planning of testing the aeronautical engineering in order to find the lightning current distribution on the aircraft skin are developed. The technique of geometric modeling of aircraft skin used to estimate the electromagnetic environment in the thunderstorm range is proposed. The analytical model of electromagnetic interaction of lightning with aircraft equipment is developed. The model characterizes the operation condition of equipment in the thunderstorm range.
