At the dissertation the heritage of oustanding representatives of the Ukrainian pedagogical idea of the second half of ХІХ - the beginning of XX century on a problem of pedagogical dialogue of the teacher with the pupil and its realizations in school practice of the researched period is theoreticaly systematized. The preconditions of forming the idea of pedagogical dialogue in world pedagogical ideas and the tendency of its development during existence of a human civilization was found out. It is investigated features of becoming and development of a problem of mutual relations of the tutor with the pupil in pedagogical ideas of Ukraine, it is concretized achievements and a direct role in its decision of oustanding representatives of progressive pedagogical idea of Ukraine of the second half of ХІХ - the beginning of XX century. In research it is drawn directions of creative judgement and use in practice of modern school of pedagogical achievements in a researched problem of the Ukrainian teachers of the second half of ХІХ - the beginning of XX century.
