The thesis is devoted to the process of formation and development of extracurricular institutions of different types in Ukraine (1920 - 1941). The main tendencies of educational work in extracurricular institutions are rerevealed. The principal aspects of educational work organisation system are determined. The results, the facts and theoretical generalisation may be used by scientists and teachers in order to develop and improve of modern theory and practice of extracurricular institutions educational work.
