Essay

The investigation of the dihydroxy bile acid effects on the isolated perfused rat liver bile secretion revealed its dependence on the hydrophobicity level, and for hydrophobic dihydroxy bile acids - on the its hydroxylation intensity in hepatocytes. The hydrophobic dihydroxy bile acid induced cholestasis functional signs can be decreased by means off its hydroxylation intensification, the competitive cell membrane defence against the bile acid detergent effects and its transport from hepatocyte to the bile intensification.
