Тhe present thesis studies the questions of state policy in the sphere of dramatic art during the period of 1917-2000. The policy of the Ukrainian authorities in the sphere of dramatic art during the Liberation movements (1917-1920) are sequentially observed. These are the periods of Ukrainian Central Rada, Getman's P.Skoropadskyi Government and Directory of Ukrainian People's Rada (Council). The policy of the former Soviet authority, embraced in the period of 1919, -end of 1980's is also observed.
